About Dr. Syal
Ashu Syal, MD, FAAP, a board-certified pediatrician in La Porte, Texas. With over 20 years of experience. She received her medical degree from Government Medical College in Amritsar, India, and completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. She also completed a hematology-oncology fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and several other fellowships, including pediatric nephrology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.
Dr. Syal has held various medical positions, including chairperson at the Department of Pediatrics at Bayshore Medical Center in Pasadena, Texas, and associate professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Additionally, she specializes in treating patients with ADHD and Autism and is highly experienced in providing exceptional care to these patients.
